1. matter 을 사용하여 "상관 있다 없다 " 표현하기 

 

It doesn't matter. 상관 없어요.

I don't think it matters. 상관 없을것 같아요. ( 상관없다! 단정하면서 말하기 보다 좀더 조심스럽게 표현하는 방법)

It doesn't really matter. 별로 상관없어요.

I don't think it really matters. 별로 상관 없을것 같아요.

It doesn't matter to me what she says. 난 걔가 무슨 말을 하든 상관없어. (감정적으로 신경안씀)

I don't care what he says.  걔가 뭐라고 말하든 신경 안써.

 

2.  A have something to do with B  A와 B는 상관이 있다. ( 영향을 주고 안주고의 의미로 관련이 있다)

 

It has something to do with the economy.  그것은 경제와 상관이 있다. (관련이 있다)

What does that have to do with this? 그게 이일과 무슨 상관이야? 

(something)

This has a lot to do with that. 이거랑 그거랑 상관이 많아.

That has nothing to do with this. 그거랑 이거랑 상관이 없어.

This doesn't have anything to do with you. 이건 너랑 아무 상관이 없는거야.

=This has nothing to do with you. 

 

추가) concern 상관이 있다. 관련이 있다. = 좀더 formal한 느낌.

This doesn't concern you. (어감) 이건 당신한테 해당이 되지 않습니다.

 

비교1) Why does this happen?

=> It's because of the weather.  날씨 때문이다. (단정)

=> It has something to do with the weather. 날씨와 관련이 있다. (조심스럽게 접근)

 

비교2) Why does this happen? 

=> It's because of the worsening economy.  경제가 악화 되었기 때문이다.

=> It has something to do with the worsening economy. 그것은 경제 악화와 관련이 있다.
=> It has a lot to do with the worsening economy. 그것은 경제 악화와 많은 관련이 있다.

 

3.  be related to  관련 연관성이 있다

 

The two incidents were related to each other.  두 사건은 서로 관련이 있었다.

It doesn't even matter.

It has something do do with the traditions.

It's all personal, it's nothing to do with telling anybody else what to do.
